Physics Teachers' Day


PAC07 and the Division of Physics of Beams (DPB) of the American Physical Society invite you to attend a Physics Teachers' Day on Wednesday, June 27, to be held as part of PAC07 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This Teachers' Day, free to all particpants, will provide a full day of professional development for physics teachers and includes:

  • Hands-on workshops presenting innovative, classroom-ready activities for physics students
  • Research talks on cutting-edge accelerator physics and its applications
  • A welcoming breakfast, where you can network with fellow teachers and meet the DPB Education and Outreach staff
  • A luncheon, where you can ask questions of particle
    accelerator physicists

Albuquerque Convention Center
Wednesday, June 27, 2007, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

The program, meals, and parking will be covered by PAC07.
You may also attend regular sessions of PAC07 on that day at no charge.

Please spread the word to any other physics and science teachers who might like to attend. Participants will receive the paperwork needed to get continuing education credits from the American Association of Physics Teachers.
